Some Progress – New composition, buildings, lakes and sky + some painting and atmosphere.

Hi there.

Finally I´ve found some time to work on my entry to the challenge. The last two weeks were crazy busy. I will dedicate more time from now as the deadline is approaching.

I´m quite happy with the composition of this shot now, added some key elements and am detailing buildings, working on the low rise buildings and houses which will help to fill the image and make it look more like a real city. There is a lot to come in the next days, including the other shots. :)

The sky and lighting look quite good. Overall it's a nice composition.

I was going to comment on the repeating grass texture but once you add a bunch of the other low rise buildings it will hide it no problem. I'd like to see some other shots as well :)

I´m glad you like the sky, lighting and composition. The grass texture works for the large area and as you said there will be a lot more buildings too...More shots to come soon. :) Thanks!

Hi Christian, I like the new composition the diagonal line that follows all the way to the main square is looking good. also the sky are looking so much better. as for the lakes I really like the shapes you got going there maybe try to make it more reflective - sun & sky. Nice progress!
