The vision of the city I’d like to illustrate is set in a time in the near future.
Fossil fuels have run out and are too expensive to extract. The infrastucture that used and supported them has become mostly obsolete.
People are resourceful and use old objects and places in new ways.
The inspiration for these images has come from places I have visited including Calcutta, SE Asia and Jerrusalem. I have always been amazed at how people build lives for themselves – often with very little resources.
